recently i have been going back to school for night study, alot more productive than staying at home, but really its the going home part which made me reflect on more of the events that have been happening.
starting with the most important is how i have been replaced in the band with james as really i don't think that juggling 2 bands with that much differences is possible... i also don't think that the people from the band like what i am doing with two bands... so i leaving seems the best option. Also james is a pretty decent guy, so for him to be the drummer, its alot better for them this way. But i will always remember the experience of being jam buddies, and more importantly brothers during the times we were jamming together.
change is important, but always reflect.

Ever since i started anti-gerdism, i realized that i have never won a single computer game no matter what. If ur against me, ur gonna have fun, otherwise with me, god help ya.

Anyway went jamming again after prelims ended. I guess i should really keep my phone on me, cause without it, plans get easily destroyed...

We managed 2 play a few decent songs with arthurs band, ok lol more like 3 good songs.
the river, Atst, sugar we're going down.
poh yi had the improvise the last one, but it didnt sound all the bad.

ok also, for prom, we're probably gonna play these songs

Finally, prelims are over, 2morrow that is, left 2 more mcq papers of chem and geog.
Its sorta wierd, even though theres less stress, giving us more time 2 study and etc, shouldnt they just get everything over with asap?

Also, i met amanda on the bus these 2 mornings, lol, nvr saw her taking bus in the past bfore.
her parents arent available 2 fetch her is the reason.
wonder if she can give me a car pool in the morning hehehe.

Also, recently picked up a few great songs on mtv and radio, i'm not really a fan of rab, but gym class heros REALLY turned my liking for it. Cupids chokehold and Clothes off, they sound like great clubbing sounds and they got a nice story in the lyrics, one phrase caught me though, its was how some actions that people did, even when they were small, were actually actions of love, or is it?

heck i'll leave the complications of romance for the future.

yea, gonna get em bfore end of this year, hopefully... with all my activities moneys been kinda short.

Anyway recently had my o lvl music composition recording, i recorded my song which i created, thanks arthur for the technical assistance and the impromtu help u gave man, owe u a bunch.

Also, went jamming with the ritz band, and recorded a pretty decent cover of The River.
Guess even if we did do well we arent really perfect yet, WILL DO BETTER AFTER O'S FOR SURE!!!

Yeah and i guess i'm getting pretty hyped about the approach/end of o lvl, and more importantly, prom night.

We kept discussing about how we were gonna let our debut performance work out, but since o lvls r the priority we have 2 leave the real discussions for another time.

Finally i come back 2 my blog, thanks xy for reminding me of its existence XD.
Anyway a ton have stuff happened during my long absence. Like how relationships were threatened, and opportunities denied. But not all of them bad. I got into a pretty big tustle with choon hua, cant remember when or why, but it was sorta big enough for both o us 2 be really pissed. But anyway it got resolved, so things are ok now.
oh yeah, also, i met odelia, a singer with pipes that blew me away the moment i heard her let go. I mean, REALLY, she can sing better than tons of people that we have heard bfore. Soon she invited her own drummer and me, riz, odelia, and the drummer luke were jamming hard 2 try for a charity event concert. We recorded a couple o tracks and sent them 2 the judges. But we didnt make it... i thought we did sound good though? I SERIOUSLY think that it was the sound quality that we had that really turned the judges off... Y CANT THEY DO LIVE AUDITIONING!!!

After a couple o weeks bfore, i was trying 2get the principle 2 let us perform for some event, like as in a 3 song show, just to let us try performing in front o a crowd. But he DENIED US, because of reasons like , U kids need 2 study for o lvls..., theres isnt any time...
I MEAN WTH, its only 10 mins worth at most, and... in terms of studying, we could manage that ourselves. the principle couldnt even give us a single break!!! But nvr mind, he did promise us a slot during Prom night so PEOPLE WATCH OUT!!! WE'RE GONNA GIVE ONE HECK OF A ROCK SHOW DURING PROM NIGHT!!!

oh yeah we also celebrated aces day 2day. it was cool at the end cause we had like the sec 3's at the stars giving us something 2 remember. It was cool cause the juniors were like giving out stuff? So we felt pretty "honoured" and all. But it sorta sucked cause we could have been playing live previously...
1 more thing, i'm telling any one who actually spent the time 2 read through this blog, if ur going 2 play pool, dun wear any school clothes at all, meaning pants or shirt. Be it even if u had an overcoat, u arent supposed 2 be allowed in.
Its so happened that we went pooling yesterday, some cops stopped us and managed 2 crack down on the pool centre for allowing kids in uniform(us) from being allowed into the place. Plus Kj had snuck in as well, so that really added an effect as well. Cause he sorta still underage while the rest of us had just passed our bdays.
Technically, we didnt get caught for doin anything illegal, but it made us lose the mood for pooling... so in the end we only played for like 10 mins LOL
ok just one last thing,
i've formed the term gerd, gerdmo, logerdmoser, and gerd god.
sounds wierd, aint it? Cause it IS wierd. i created em XD
in case u didnt know I'm the pioneer of the group Antigerdism, where we sorta help geeks/nerds 2 exit from their addiction to the coms and games. From there it sorta expanded out with a coupla terms that were created on the way when we merged some words 2gether.

from tomorrow onwards, i will be legal 2 enter pool centres without sneaking in,
from 2morrow onwards, sex is no longer underage.
FROM TOMORROW ONWARDS!!! I'M OLDER!!!
that is if i survive 2morrow that is.
this isnt a suicide note, its not even an appeal for help.
I'm 16, life just got sweeter =D

jamming and an aftermath of pain

Jamming was great, even if for the first 3 hours after school was seriously a waste of time and energy...what happened after that was magic!!! we played 2.5 hours non-stop, and not even abit of it wasn't fun, cept of how many members were denyed the opportunity 2 perform, leading 2 a little kicking problem but otherwise!!! no problems.
Miss Tan even said that our "all the small things" wasn't bad at all. Still... i really hope that the coming concert we we'll be able 2 impress the teachers enough to play live on august 8 after everything as a closure. YEP YEP!!! IMPT STUFF!!!
And finally i have decided that i will only play bass in arthurs band 2gether with poh yi and wayne.
riz, ch,kj and joe arent bad at all and i have 2 make a choice, and the "kick" sorta shook me anyhow so... thats that!

and wtf i think i have 3 test papers 2morrow... GD LUCK 2 ALL OTHERS

After going back 2 school, i realize not much has changed, cept for my hairstyle and how there aint no more anti who ever clubs for certain derick i know. Probably because of the attitude of" wo ai da jia da jia ai wo". yar yar, i bet if everyone had this attitude, world peace would be a piece of cake.
Going back 2 school was great, met the hommies, saw how certain people grew, etc.
what REALLY sucked was how ms tan called me parents when i didnt do my stupid compre... which i could not do cause i lost the book and no one could send me the scans... haiz... disappointed me parents yet again... anyway i did complete it. So right now, theres no harm done. Also, it occurs 2 me how many people would like 2 portray themselves 2 others as different personalities and etc..
Another realization is how many of my pals are finding love in their life. Either they are succesful or not. still its interesting 2 compare their methods of courtship and what ever.
Also during the week, i read a few articles about punks and posers(thanks to alan), and realized that a punk's attitude has good and bad points. like how it give people a way to feel comfortable with themselves. as said as 2 how a punk dresses is completely up to him, regardless if its in the nude or if its full of chains and tattoos or what not... negatively speaking a punks true purpose is 2 rebel against most things that their not happy with.(which i find is a rather daring and great thing to do, even if the public disagrees with this-f*** em...)
and lastly, punks really have 2 live with their music, for without that, they are nothing. posers on the otherhand, tend 2 dress like punks, with their fasionable drags and accesories, they do it cause they want 2 be cool, to impress others.
this should not be the case for a real punk... thats why sometimes u really just wanna have the attitude of a real punk and just leave it at that.

The Used is influencing me

Wow ok here's something that may not be new to everyone, its how music influences u and me.
Recently went for the bbq which i sorta mentioned about in the previous post, it was fun, cept for the part where my parents werent really happy with my behavior, i was supposed 2 go back early, but due 2 excessive fun, i stayed overnight. WOW BIG SURPRISE!!!
But hey i had fun, cept when everyone went 2 sleep after the trashing i received from rizuan who i wacked with my guitar when he was sleeping lol. I guess people like rizuan can't be disturbed when their sleeping, or i shouldnt have used the guitar hmm...
I think i went crazy that night, since everyone was sleeping and i was the only one who set my mind to keep everyone either awake and not sleep myself.
Lol the best prank was the one with deonsus who sadly was the deepest sleeper.
What happened was just now we were watching the incredibly lame show of "incredible tales" where this extremely fake looking ghost strangled the friend. we did that to him kekeke....
anyway its been a damn long time since i updated, n a number of things happened these few days, like how we went to the zoo and breathed in the smells of more than 40 kinds of smelly animals. Not that it was uninteresting or whatever, but really the it smelled horrible at certain places... and the drinks there are like 3 or 4 times the price compared the anywhere else.
We had fun, taking photoes here and there, and chilling in the rest stations for a quarter of the time. Plus we had this small family of 3 monkeys follow us 4 a period of time, ok maybe 2 and a half. i'll probably paste the pics and the video e jon took some other time, but otherwise, just imaging a little monkey hugging its mother while the lazy father chased behind...
i still have not done all of my holiday hw yet. so thats it. btw the used rocks, they make the best music, and best of all, their new album just came out in singapore!!! yays!!!

Gee my First blog

Hey my first blog!!! Gee, i'm really bored now... Thanks isabelle for teaching me how 2 start this... alright 2day was a freaking unproductive day lah... i mean normally people do homework or revision they would feel a sense of accomplishment, for me, it was totally TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!! I WAS SO FREAKING BORED OUT OF ME SKULL!!!
Even when i had The Used playing in my ears for the whole day, it really sucked... so freaking bored, n i started this.
all right what else, OH YEAH, last week we had the world's best jamming session, its was DAMN COOL LAH. Its wasnt a mistake 2 invite the new guy n man could he drum, it really made our sound alot better than the past...
Then theres the sleepover that i missed, cause theres a bbq 2morrow, my bandmates staying over night at blacks house. OMG I WANNA GO!!! But life's unfair and my parents 100% guaranteed would not allow me to go.
THE USED rocks lah... like 70 percent of their songs r quality pieces, thanks arthur for giving me the web for dlding the songs.
wow i've typed alot eh? ok now isabelle's gonna help me edit my page so it looks
more like my style.
